I grow food products and herbs for sustenance, to attract birds, bees and butterflies, to feel at one with nature and to beautify my landscape. Gardening promotes peace of mind.
Personal Connection
From when I was a child of about 10, we started growing pea seed in science class. I liked radishes, so I started growing radishes and watermelons.
I first came to Gilbertie’s in 1998 when I began working here. I knew of the Gilbertie family in my previous job with another local family garden center.
